Day 11 - Chame - the best laid plans

So you really know your in the Himalayas now, last night was freezing, but this morning the blue was peeking through the clouds. We agreed to set the day aside, get a little altitude adjustment, gather supplies and get as much information from the locals as we can about the Nar-Phu valley.
When the cloud broke up, we could see a number of amazing snow covered mountains, they are now a lot closer and seem a lot more real. We wandered the street, took in the general vibe of the place, did some writing, talked to the few other trekkers around and just generally rested.
As the day wore on, the cloud started to return and we have been left with doubts about heading out tomorrow. If the weather is bad, we run too many risks in a remote region, so it's a wait and see. Lille spoke to a number of Chame people who actually come from the valley, and we spoke to someone's uncle in Nar who gave us lots of info. We should only have to camp a couple of nights, and stay in huts the other nights, all we now need is good weather. So really, it's typical mountain planning.... The best laid plans of mice and men!
